30 Rock is one of the most iconic comedies in recent TV history, which just aired its final season. The show made its debut on October 11, 2006, and provides us with Jennifer Aniston's most iconic character to date.
In these seven seasons, 30 Rock has produced an excellent series of episodes that made this show one of my favorites. The characters are a mixture of both adults and those our age, which is refreshing considering the lack of young shows.
Tina Fey's character Liz Lemon has a fantastic relationship with her friend Tracy, as well as an inappropriate yet mostly equal friendship with Jenna Maroney, who, just like Tracy, is a fabulous character. It's unfortunate that after season six, Eddy Murphy pulled his character out of the show and the series finale was not on a high note in regards to Jenna's life, but it can't be helped. The series finale is not unenjoyable but instead proves that 30 Rock will go down as one of the best TV shows in recent memory.
NBC's 30 Rock is a great show, and I can't believe it's been going on for 10 years. Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Alec Baldwin, and Tracy Morgan are the main members of the cast that make the show so extraordinary. This is one of those feel-good programs that are so hard to find nowadays.
The program is consistently funny with enough crude humor to hold my stomach. The best part about this show is that it provides a thoughtful perspective on what it means to be a star and the difficulties in that situation.
The cast always portrays their characters with depth and realism, which is a breath of fresh air in this industry. They're also actors who get recognized by fans just about anywhere they go.
